Website data

This website does not ask for voice recordings or connected-service permissions. It uses no advertising trackers or analytics scripts. Checkout uses an essential, HttpOnly session cookie to reconnect your browser to its Stripe payment session. We do not store orders or card details in local storage. Cloudflare hosts the site and may process technical request information, such as your IP address, to deliver and secure it.

Checkout data

Stripe hosts the secure payment fields and processes your payment information. We also retain a Stripe-hosted checkout link as a fallback. Your full name, email, phone number, and transaction record are visible to the seller in Stripe. The custom checkout saves your name and phone number with the order for order support. Providing a phone number does not opt you into marketing texts. This website does not handle or store card numbers. Read Stripe’s privacy policy.

How we use purchase information

We use your checkout details to confirm your purchase, send relevant product and access updates, deliver access when ready, provide support, process refunds, prevent fraud, and maintain necessary transaction records. Purchasing does not subscribe you to unrelated marketing. We do not sell your personal information.

Retention and requests

We retain order information while needed to deliver access and support, resolve refunds or disputes, and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. Contact jeremyjv@berkeley.edu to request access, correction, or deletion. Some transaction records may need to be retained for legal or accounting purposes. Stripe and Cloudflare process data under their own policies.

This website does not connect your accounts or process your voice. We’ll explain how the watch app handles voice and connected services before you activate access or connect an account.
